The Public Participation Plan, a regional effort detailing how transportation agencies should interact with the local residents, could be approved next week.
On Wednesday, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, the Bay Area’s lead planning and transportation agency, will vote on approving the latest version of its Public Participation Plan.
The 85-page document will spell out how the MTC plans on “providing the public and interested parties with reasonable opportunities to be involved in the regional transportation planning process.”
