Rain, clouds return to city

The winter weather is expected to linger around the Bay Area, bringing cool temperatures and chances of showers for the entire week.

There will be partly cloudy skies today, with temperatures that stay cool, reaching just into the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service.

After a weekend that was spattered with rain, today’s dryness is expected to give way to rain again in the coming days.

Another weather pattern will bring the chance of rain back into the region on Tuesday and Wednesday. The cloudy and possibly rainy weather is expected to continue into next weekend, according to the weather service.

Along with the rain, the temperatures are expected to reach highs in the mid- to low-50s throughout the week.
