The first of two public hearings this week will be held Tuesday on the draft environmental impact report for the second phase of the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard redevelopment.
The draft EIR was submitted to the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency on Nov. 12. The public hearings is the latest step toward certification of the EIR. Another public hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
After receiving the public's input, the Redvelopment Agency and Planning Commission will put together the final report, which will then have to be certified after further public comment.
Today's meeting is at 4 p.m. in Room 416 at City Hall.
