Public comment on suicide barrier closes

Public comment will close Monday on the draft environmental assessment of a Golden Gate Bridge suicide barrier. The draft environmental impact report describes alternatives for the project and the potential impacts of different alternatives. As of last week, nearly 56 percent of responders to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District's online survey said they preferred no suicide barrier at all.
