Presidio Trust announces appointment of three new board members

The Presidio Trust, the federal group in charge of managing operations at the old Army base, has announced three new members to its Board of Directors.

The appointments, which come straight from President Barack Obama, will add two business leaders and an environmental expert to the seven-person Board. William Hambrecht is a financier, Charlene Harvey is a consultant and David Grubb — former chair of the Presidio Board — is a conservationist.

The new trio will replace T. Robert Burke, Nancy Connor and Curtis Feeny, all of whom termed out.

Along with managing 3,000 residents, the Presidio Trust is tasked with making the 1,491-acre public park financially self-sufficient by 2013.
