Preparations begin on Stockton Street for Winter Walk

A cheerful spread of astro-turf has replaced the construction vehicles on Stockton Street, in anticipation of the upcoming Winter Walk.

The pop-up plaza will be opening in the Union Square neighborhood on Nov. 25, and will run through Jan. 1. During this time two blocks of Stockton Street (between Geary and Ellis streets) will be host to free dance performances, food vendors, and appearances of adoptable puppies from the Macy’s Window.
