Power back on for 6,500 customers in SF, Daly City, Brisbane

Power was restored to thousands of PG&E customers late Tuesday night after hours in the dark in parts of San Francisco, Daly City and Brisbane, a PG&E spokesman said.

All 6,500 customers affected by outages had power restored by 11:30 p.m., spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Outages had been reported at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday night, impacting customers in areas including San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood, northern Daly City and portions of Brisbane, Guidi said.

PG&E crews were investigating equipment failure in San Francisco’s Portola District near Silliman and University streets.
