Politicians gather to celebrate children’s bill

State assemblyman Jerry Hill will be joined by his legislative colleague, state Assemblyman Ira Ruskin, and other Peninsula officials today to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Bill of Rights for Children in San Mateo.

Steven A. Kinney, a member of the Chicago Bears, will be the keynote speaker at the event, which will take place at the Oracle Conference Center in Redwood City.
