Police make third arrest in Bayview homicide from earlier this month

Police made a third arrest Monday in connection with the killing of 19-year-old Latrell Shaw earlier this month in the Bayview, Officer Albie Esparza said in a statement.

Maselusi Falesoga, 19, was arrested Monday by undercover officers on a homicide warrant, Esparza said. He is the third suspect arrested in connection with Shaw’s death.

Shaw and another man were shot Sept. 5 during a neighborhood barbecue, Esparza said. Shaw died at the hospital, but the other victim was treated and released.

Two weeks later, police announced the arrest of two suspects in the shooting: Fotu Paopao Jr., 19, and a juvenile.

Falesoga, Paopao and the juvenile have all been booked on homicide charges.Bay Area NewsBayviewCrimeCrime & CourtsFotu Paopao Jr.Homicide
