Police made an arrest in late November in connection with a South of Market homicide last month.

San Francisco resident Antonio Dupree, 36, was arrested Nov. 28 and faces murder and burglary charges.

On Nov. 24, officers responded to the first block of Essex Street and discovered the body of 63-year-old Gary Mulhern inside his apartment, Officer Grace Gatpandan said in a statement.

The Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Mulhern’s death was suspicious.

Homicide investigators later revealed that Mulhern had been killed the evening of Nov. 21, Gatpandan said.
