Police investigating death of man found in parking lot as a homicide

The death of a man found dead in a parking lot south of Bernal Heights early Monday morning is being investigated as a homicide by San Francisco police.

Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Ellsworth Street at around 5:43 a.m., said Officer Grace Gatpandan.

Police did not release the age of the victim or the cause of death.

The killing marks The City’s 29th homicide of the year.
