Police investigating Christmas Eve fatal stabbing

Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred in the
Mid-Market District of San Francisco on Monday night.

Officers responded to a report of a person lying on the ground
near the intersection of Sixth and Jessie streets around 6:08 p.m. Monday, police said.

Paramedics tried to render aid, but the victim was declared dead
at the scene. Police didn’t release any suspect information.
