Police investigating Bayview shooting that killed 19-year-old man

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood, which killed a 19-year-old, according to police.

Around 12:20 a.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting victim in the 1700 block of Oakdale Avenue, Capt. Raj Vaswani said.

There, officers found a 19-year-old San Francisco man who had been shot. Medical personnel attempted life-saving measures however the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Vaswani.

No arrest was made and police are continuing to investigate the fatal shooting.
