Police investigate two separate cases of portable toilet arsons

Police are investigating two separate cases of arson of portable toilets on Thursday and early Friday morning.

The first incident was reported by firefighters to police in the Richmond at the 500 block of 12th Avenue about 8:46 p.m. where officers showed up to the scene of portable toilet on fire, police said.

Then, at 12:19 a.m. early Friday morning, police responded to a similar scene in the South of Market area. In that case, a portable toilet had been set ablaze in the 400 block of Clementina Street.
