Police investigate fatal shooting early Monday in the Mission District

A male victim was fatally shot in the Mission District early Monday morning.

The San Francisco Police Department responded to the shooting at 2:30 a.m at 24th and Mission streets.

No arrests were made and no further information was immediately available.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Police Department’s tip line at 415-575-4444 or to send a text to TIP411 and begin the text message with “SFPD.”
