A 21-year-old man was shot and injured Sunday night at Pier 48, less than a block away from San Francisco Police Department’s headquarters, according to police.
The incident was reported at 11:05 p.m. when a 30-year-old man walked up to a parked car with two men inside and opened fire.
One of the men was hit and ran from the scene. The other man in the car drove the car away in an effort to escape.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.
Police found the suspect and arrested him soon after the shooting.
