Person found dead at Ocean Beach

A person was found dead Tuesday morning near the dunes at Ocean Beach, the San Francisco medical examiner confirmed.

Four San Francisco police cars arrived near the intersection of Kirkham Street and Upper Great Highway this morning around 9 a.m., followed by the medical examiner, according to Rebecca Skinner, a neighbor who was out on her morning walk.

Police have yet to release any information and the cause of death is under investigation, according to the medical examiner.
