Pedestrian struck, injured by school bus

A pedestrian struck by a Laidlaw school bus in San Francisco's Silver Terrace neighborhood this morning suffered a leg injury, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at Bayshore Boulevard and Silver Avenue at about 7:15 a.m., CHP Officer A. Paulson said.

One juvenile was on the bus at the time but was not injured, according to Paulson.

The injured pedestrian was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, a San Francisco Fire Department dispatcher said.
