One arrested, another wanted in Jahmad Karriem killing

Marcellis Williams, 20, of San Francisco, was arrested last week in connection with the fatal shooting of Jahmad Karriem, 20, of San Francisco, during a residential burglary in the Ingleside district last year.

However, investigators are still hunting for the “armed and dangerous” Roderick Thomas, 24, of San Francisco, who is also wanted for the cold-blooded  murder at 356 Louisburg St. on April 1, 2012.

Thomas is wanted on charges of murder, robbery and burglary, Officer Albie Esparza said.

Karriem was shot in the chest while reportedly visiting a friend’s house. Investigators did not initially report a motive for the killing, but now say Thomas and Williams had been burglarizing the home at the time.

On his Facebook page, Karriem identified himself as rapper GuREALah City. The Facebook page noted that he was engaged to be married.
