On Target: Aug. 8, 2008

On Saturday, residents of The City’s Sunset district will celebrate the recent renovation of the J.P. Murphy Playground, located at Ninth Avenue and Ortega Street. Recreation and Park Department staff will be on hand to offer tours of the new facility and take suggestions on what types of programs residents would like to see at the new recreation space. The open-house event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call (415) 831-2782.
