No injuries reported in two Bayview shootings Monday night

No one was struck by gunfire in two reported shootings in Bayview late Monday, police said.

The first shooting was at Harbor and Northridge roads around 7:15 p.m. Police found shell casings on the ground and searched the area but could not find gunshot victims, suspects or damage.

Then at 11:45 p.m. a man told officers he was driving near Fitzgerald Avenue and Hawes Street when he heard gunshots and “felt something wiz past him,” police said.

The man’s car had been struck by gunfire but he was uninjured.

Both cases are under investigation. There are no suspects in either shootings.
