Nightclub bottle tossing

Curiosity led to a blow to the head for this cat.

A 28-year-old man who was only watching a brawl inside an Upper Market nightclub Friday was struck by a flying bottle, police said.

The bottle toss injury happened around 1:30 a.m. at a club in the 2300 block of Market Street, police said.

The bottle struck the victim’s right cheek, causing a laceration, police said.

He was transported to the hospital. The injury was not life threatening, police said.

There have been no arrests, police said.
