Newsom: Victory Garden will stay until November

San Francisco’s mayor announced Monday that the 10,000-square-foot Victory Garden installed this summer at the Civic Center will remain open into November.

It was initially slated to move Sept. 21. The gardens are sponsored by Slow Food Nation and are touted as “an ornamental edible garden.” Vegetables from the garden are donated to local food banks.
