Newsom Tracker: Moving forward with Treasure Island redevelopment

It's been a groundbreaking summer for San Francisco — the new Bay Bridge self-anchored suspension span was lifted, the Hunters Point Shipyard project was approved, work on the Transbay Terminal started last week and now city leaders are moving ahead with the massive redevelopment of Treasure Island. On Tuesday, Mayor Gavin Newsom will join Speaker Nancy Pelosi and U.S. Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus to endorse the terms of Naval Station Treasure Island Transfer Agreement.
