Newsom tracker: Family man

With the birth of his daughter on Friday, don’t plan on Mayor Gavin Newsom being too active today – but you never know.

He has no public events, meetings at City Hall, or campaign events on his schedule. But while mayor will take days off here and there to be with his family, it will not be for an extended period of time, spokesman Nathan Ballard said.

On the other hand, Newsom will still make his presence felt online. He will host his first online town hall meeting on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

His campaign will host a Twitter Talk Tuesday from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
