Newsom Tracker: And the winners are…

After laying out $45 million in midyear budget cuts Thursday afternoon, Mayor Gavin Newsom gets to deliver some good news today.

At noon in City Hall’s North Light Court, the mayor will announce which groups in The City won grants to make improvements to their neighborhoods.

The so-called Community Challenge Grant Program “provides matching grants to local residents, businesses, non-profits and other community groups to make physical improvements to their neighborhoods,” the Mayor’s Office said.
