Newsom: 100 percent increase in solar installations

While Mayor Gavin Newsom has been vacationing in Hawaii, he has still been communicative with San Franciscans via his Twitter page.

His latest post touts The City’s solar incentive program, presumably GoSolarSF, for increasing solar installations in San Francisco by 100 percent during 2009.

The mayor also predicted more major green adjustments for the New Year.

“Launching new $150 mil green loan program,” the post said.
