Muni is back online after experiencing a computer glitch that delayed all subway service late Sunday afternoon, according to transit officials.
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said on Twitter that a “computer problem” delayed all subway service just before 4 p.m., advising riders to take surface transit.
The agency fixed the problem within 30 minutes of the announcement, but anticipated residual delays.
The NextBus Muni prediction service appeared to be out of sync with trains during the computer problem.
Currently experiencing a total @sfmta_muni #metro #subway inbound/outbound shutdown "due to a computer crash." This is our reality.
