Muni service delayed by train with mechanical problems

Muni Metro subway service experienced delays Monday morning due to a mechanical problem with a train at Civic Center station, which was first reported around 10 a.m.

Muni operated shuttles on Market Street and BART offered transfers at all SF stations between Balboa Park and Embarcadero for Muni patrons with valid proof of payment.

The incident was resolved around noon, according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
