Muni marauders grab bag

A woman who found herself suddenly surrounded by young ruffians on a Muni bus Saturday night dug into her purse in search of her cellphone, hoping to dial 911, but ended up punched and robbed of the bag.

The 39-year-old woman reportedly fought back and managed to hold on to her cellphone during the robbery at McAllister and Fillmore streets, but she was punched in the face. No arrests have been reported.
