Motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run collision in Potrero Hill

San Francisco police on Saturday arrested a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run collision that killed a motorcyclist in Potrero Hill.

The driver hit the motorcyclist at Arkansas and 23rd streets near the Potrero Hill Recreation Center at around 3:44 p.m., according to police. The driver fled the scene but was later arrested.

The motorcyclist, who has been identified by the medical examiner as 33-year-old Senoris Jinks, Jr., was rushed to the hospital, but died of his injuries.

Police have not released the identity of the driver.
