Motorcyclist escapes after SF police pursuit

A motorcyclist escaped from police after a pursuit was reported Sunday on The Embarcadero.

Just after 5:50 p.m. police responded to the area of Jefferson and Hyde streets after someone reported hearing shots.

The motorcyclist was described as the possible shooter. Police engaged the suspect in a pursuit, but the motorcyclist escaped. Police said a victim wasn’t located in the case, which remains under investigation.
