Morning miscreant robs SoMa brank branch

A Bank of America branch in South of Market was robbed Monday morning, police said.

A man in his 30s reportedly walked into the bank in the 600 block of Eighth Street about 10:25 a.m., handed the teller a note and instructed her to put money in a bag.

The teller complied and the bandit fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

No one was injured, and as of Tuesday there had been no arrests.
