Mob attack leaves man with life-threatening stab wounds

A mob of more than 10 men attacked a man early Thursday morning in San Francisco’s Mission District, stabbing him repeatedly and inflicting life-threatening wounds, police said.

The mob of 10 to 15 men attacked the 37-year-old victim in the vicinity of Potrero Avenue and 24th Street around 5:50 a.m., sending him to the hospital, according to police.

Police didn’t know what type of weapon was used in the attack, other than that it was a sharp object.
