Menlo Park girl hit in drive-by shooting

Police in Menlo Park are searching for suspects in a drive-by shooting that injured a teenage girl in her home Sunday night.

The shooting was reported in the 1300 block of Madera Avenue about 7:35 p.m., according to police. Witnesses told police at least two shooters in a light-colored four-door sedan drove down the block and fired multiple gunshots into a home and two cars.

A 15-year-old girl inside the home was struck in the hand, police said. She was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a hospital.

No other injuries have been reported, and police have not identified any suspects, police said.

The suspect vehicle was last seen driving west on Madera Avenue toward Ivy Drive.
