Mechanical problems cause Caltrain delays

Mechanical problems are causing Caltrain delays in both directions Monday morning, a Caltrain spokeswoman said.

The problems have prompted the cancellation of southbound train No. 210 at the Menlo Park station. Riders on that train were able to board southbound train No. 216, which is 10 minutes late.

Two other southbound trains and one northbound train are behind schedule by up to 15 minutes, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.
