Mayor meets with Disaster Council to aid San Bruno

Mayor Gavin Newsom will drop in on a meeting of The City’s Disaster Council on Friday afternoon for an update on San Francisco agency’s effort to help Peninsula agencies with recovery efforts after Thursday’s San Bruno inferno.

The meeting, which will be held at 2:15 p.m. at City Hall, will update the efforts to finally squelch the fire and will review The City’s efforts to provide aide to their southern neighbors.
