Mayor asks revelers to bring food to party

Sunday’s holiday open house party isn’t just about getting, it’s also about giving.

Although Mayor Gavin Newsom has promised a snow park and mobile zoo for kids, he is also asking those who plan to attend the free City Hall holiday party to bring nonperishable food items to the open house all of which will be donated to the San Francisco Food Bank’s Holiday Food Drive.
