Matt Gonzalez still around — as an artist

Former San Francisco Supervisor Matt Gonzalez, who almost became mayor with his run against Gavin Newsom, is still making news around San Francisco.

Gonzalez was busy this last year endorsing John Dennis in his run against Nancy Pelosi and backing a public-pension reform measure.

In addition, the news site Mission Local reports he has been busy with his artwork that is being displayed in a new art show.

Perhaps next he can paint us all a picture of what to expect from him next year.
