Marcus Spruell, 23, and Waynenard Aitemon Jr., 32, victims of recent SF homicides

The victims of two recent homicides were identified by the medical examiner's office on Monday.

Marcus Spruell, 23, was shot in the 400 block of Rose Street, near Buchanan Street, about 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. Two others were injured by the gunfire and two suspects are being sought, police said.

On Sunday, 32-year-old Waynenard Aitemon Jr. was shot near 16th and Mission streets about 2:20 a.m. No arrests have been made.

The motives behind the murders have not been released.
