Man tells cops he should've finished job on slashing victim

An angry tenant threw a pumpkin at his landlord and a thug in the Tenderloin expressed frustration that he did not kill his victim.

Stockton and Sutter streets
11:49 a.m. Saturday

A female Muni passenger unleashed pepper spray on a crowded bus while it was in a tunnel. The bus had to be evacuated.

O’Farrell and Jones streets
9:20 p.m. Tuesday

A man slashed with a box cutter hollered, “I’ve been stabbed! I’m dying!” Cops later caught the assailant, who said, “Oh, damn it, he’s still alive.”

Dunsmuir and Sweeny streets
7:30 a.m. Tuesday

An irate tenant hurled a pumpkin at his landlord during an argument, which missed the landlord but hit and damaged the landlord’s car.

Geary Boulevard and 18th Avenue
2 a.m. Thursday

Four men fled in a BMW after viciously beating a 21-year-old man. The victim, who was baited into exchanging words with the men, was punched in the back of the head while walking on the sidewalk.
