Man stable after stabbing, robbery

A 22-year-old man is in stable condition after a robber stabbed him in the chest in San Francisco early Monday morning.

Police are hunting three thugs in connection with the violent robbery in the 3300 block of Mission Street.

At around 1:50 a.m., the suspects approached the victim and demanded his property. The victim refused and was stabbed. The thugs robbed him and fled, police said.

The victim is recovering at San Francisco General Hospital.
