Man stabbed near Union Square Tuesday morning

A 62-year-old man was hospitalized after being stabbed in the back by a woman Tuesday morning near Union Square, a popular tourist destination.

The victim was arguing with the suspect, in her 40s, when he was stabbed in the back at 11:55 a.m. near the intersection of Powell and Post streets.

No arrest was made in the case and the victim in expected to survive.
