A man was stabbed by a group of six men in the Tenderloin on Thursday, police said.
The 43-year-old victim was walking on the sidewalk near Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street about 1:16 p.m. when he came upon the suspects, who were reportedly blocking the sidewalk.
An argument ensued and the victim was attacked by the six suspects with a knife, police said. He received many puncture wounds and a laceration to his thigh.
He was hospitalized for his injuries, which police say were not life threatening.
Police described the suspects as men in their 20s.
