Man stabbed in Tenderloin brawl

A man was stabbed in a Tenderloin brawl Saturday night, according to police.

The 40-year-old victim was walking near the intersection of Eddy and Leavenworth streets at around 6:32 p.m. Saturday when a fight broke out involving multiple people. The victim became involved in the fight and was stabbed multiple times, he told police.

He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. A 36-year-old man was arrested in relation to the stabbing.
