Man stabbed in own home after argument

A 71-year-old man was stabbed in his home early Monday morning by a man he met at a San Francisco bar, police said.

The man’s injuries were not life threatening. A preliminary police report said the victim brought the suspect to his home in the unit block of Dore Street, which runs parallel to Ninth and Tenth streets just south of Mission Street, around 3 a.m.

The suspect, a man in his late 60s, stabbed the victim and fled after an argument. It was not immediately clear what caused the dispute.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital. There has been no arrest.
