Man stabbed during fight near Civic Center

Two men were fighting north of Civic Center early Wednesday morning when, at some point, one of them was stabbed, police said.

The scrap between a 22-year-old man and a man in his 30’s unfolded near Polk and Eddy streets around 1 a.m., police said. After the fight, the younger man realized that he had been stabbed in the thigh with something.

He took himself to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no detailed description of the other man.
