Man shot multiple times leaving Bayview club

A man was shot multiple times leaving a club in the Bayview early Saturday morning, police Officer Albie Esparza said.

The 35-year-old victim was leaving a club in the 1600 block of Underwood about 1:45 a.m. when he was approached an unknown suspect, Esparza said. The suspect opened fire on the victim, striking him at least once in the torso area, Esparza said. The suspect fled the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital. His injuries were reportedly not life threatening.
