Man shot multiple times in Hunters Point

Hours before two men were killed in a double homicide in the parking lot of Crocker Amazon Playground, another man was shot multiple times in nearby Hunters Point, police said.

The 30-year-old victim in that shooting was struck multiple times near Griffith Street and Navy Road about 6:50 a.m.

He was taken to a hospital, and although he was struck multiple times, police said the wounds were not life-threatening.

There were no known suspects as of Tuesday morning.
