Man shot in wrist in Bernal Heights

A man was injured in a shooting in Bernal Heights on Saturday, police said Monday.

The 39-year-old victim was in the 900 block of Ellsworth Street about 11:38 p.m. when an unknown suspect opened fire on him, police said.

The victim was struck in the wrist. She shooter fled.

The victim was hospitalized, but his injuries were not life-threatening.
